MILBY_School’s halfway over, and it is now the time of year when student’s worry more about school work.
Now that our first semester is almost over I think people are starting to worry about their grades and school work even more now than before because they want to get their first semester credit, and especially because they don’t want to have to come make it up during summer school.
In my opinion I think the pressure is more during the last few weeks of the semester because we start to panic about our work being done, and if our grades are good enough. I for one am a victim of end of the semester grades, more importantly I worry about whether I can get my credit or not.
Getting our credits during the regular school year is important because we don’t want to spend our summer in school working on things we’ve done already, and no one wants to wake up early during summer break. Stress is a big part of being in school, because we constantly worry about things. Teachers tend to raise our stress level because of the STAAR testing or any test in particular.
They also worry us about EOC tests too! Having to worry about tests, receiving our credits, and keeping our grades up is a stressful situation but it’s a part of life and everyone goes through it. High school students probably worry more about receiving their credits to graduate and being successful, rather than being bothered with their stress.
In the end it pays off. It’s important to have all our credits, so don’t let the end of semester blues stress you out; just work hard and do your work and you’ll be fine.
